Precious Adrift
Recently, I had lost something that is really precious to me. I did not realize just how I would miss this thing that meant so much to me. When I found it gone, it was scary and confusing. I did not know where it could be or if anything had happened to it. Well, when I finally got it back, I had a new appreciation for it and more love than I had before. It is worth much, much more than it was before.
This situation that I was in made me think about how wonderful God is. Many times, we have all wandered away from God, but I thank Him so much that He always knows where we are and what is going on. When one of His children *goes missing*, I wonder just how much more He loves us when we make it back to him. I know He is always calling for us to come to Him. He loves us so much! We think that we can make it in this world on our own, but we soon realize that without God's guidance and love, there is no hope. The Lord is THE HOPE.
"For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth." - Psalm 71:5
The Lord is so good to us, but we just don't realize it until we have run from Him. The Lord will never leave us, but we often leave Him. The Lord loves us and we are precious to him.. or else he would have not have given His life for us. Don't be adrift from the Lord.

"Lift Up His Fellow..."
As I was looking over my day, all I could feel was disappointment. Things were said that shouldn't have been said, thoughts that should not have been thought, and deeds that should not have been done. I realized that I had let the ugliest thing about me, my sin, cover up the most beautiful, my Lord and Saviour. The greatest thing, besides salvation, that the Lord gives us is our friends and the people around us. We are to lift up our fellow Christians and be a light to the lost. Someone had said the most wonderful thing about me the other day. They said...
"When you can feel and see Jesus in someone that you are standing right in front of, that is one thing. But if you can see and feel Jesus in someone through a computer they have to be the real deal."
That is the most wonderful thing someone could have said about me. All I ever want is for me to be invisible so that everyone around can see a truly beautiful and wonderful Lord, Saviour, and Friend. The past few days, and today for sure, I have not lived the life I should have. My sin has concealed the loving, caring, giving, and gracious person who gave His life for me. The Bible says...
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Ecclesiastes 4:10
We are to lift up our fellow Christians and be a light in this dark world for the lost. We are not to tear down one another. I would hate to be alone where no one was there for me, so I will do my best to be there for my brother or sister in the Lord. The old saying what goes around, comes around is true. I just hope I can do right in His eyes from now on. I hope you can gather something from this and be careful of letting this happen to you.

Peepin' Out The Window..
As I sit here pondering the meaning of life... (OK, just kidding folks.. lol) Just wanted to write a little note about the beautiful colors that I see out my window. It is slowly approaching colder weather. Fall is a wonderful time of year! I love it! The beautiful colors of the trees and the harvest fruits are brilliant and warming. The multitude of things that God has blessed us with can be seen everyday of our lives. Though sometimes we may overlook them, God's little packages of blessings are there none the less. All we have to do is open the package and realize the beauty and magnificence of the Lord. Take time to enjoy the little things in life, the bigger things will be so much better!! I know this isn't the typical blog post, but the least we can do is be an encourager!
